“practical art has been borrowing cups of sugar (…and/or buying our toms…) from our lovely frances neighbors for nearly four years now. we offer locally-made, absolutely usable, quality craft-ware from nearly 100 local artists. When the shop was only a twinkle in the eye of our late founder and friend, jane reddin, she knew even then that practical art would flourish by showcasing the work of exclusively local arizona artists and become a friendly, welcoming community space. and though jane lost her battle with leukemia last year, she instilled in us her mission of bringing beautiful, affordable art into the lives of everyday folk for everyday use.

there is something so sophisticated, distinguished and elegant
about these men, the restaurant, and the overall feel of this video.

these handmade interlocking beads

now @ frances
last week some of the frances crew spent a few days at a show shopping for spring!
not only did they get awesome stuff for frances,
they got so much inspiration from all the amazing artists and projects involved!
